Contains functions to estimate aboveground biomass/carbon and its uncertainty in tropical forests. These functions allow to (1) retrieve and to correct taxonomy, (2) estimate wood density and its uncertainty, (3) construct height-diameter models, (4) manage tree and plot coordinates, (5) estimate the aboveground biomass/carbon at the stand level with associated uncertainty. Set of functions to quantify and map the behaviour of winds generated by tropical storms and cyclones in space and time. It includes functions to compute and analyze fields such as the maximum sustained wind field, power dissipation index and duration of exposure to winds above a given threshold. It also includes functions to map the trajectories as well as characteristics of the storms.
